You will receive your rent statement every three months. Check the statement to make sure that it is correct, and that all payments are reflected. A negative balance on your statement means that you don’t have any unpaid rent.
Call 0208 220 4610 or email us if you’d like to request a copy of your rent statement or your rent payment card.
We would like to say thank you to our tenants who regularly pay their rent on time. You make it possible for us to improve our services and maintain your homes.
Paying your rent
Your first responsibility as a good tenant is to make sure that your rent is paid and that any service charges are in full and on time. Your tenancy agreement should indicate your payment schedule. Rental payment is due every Monday for those with a weekly tenancy. You may also choose to pay every two weeks or monthly as long as the rent is paid in advance for the applicable period.
There are several ways to pay your rent:
BY STANDING ORDER If you choose this payment method, you will need to arrange it with your bank. You may also check if your online banking system allows this option.
BY RENT CARD You may also pay your rent using your rent card. When paying using your rent card, it takes 10 working days for funds to reach our account.
BY ONLINE BANKING Check if your online banking system accepts rental payments. If yes, you may pay your rent via the online banking portal.
BY PHONE Call us during office hours to pay your rent over the phone using your debit card.
BY CHEQUE You may also pay your rent by cheque. Make it payable to Devine Housing Ltd and write your tenancy code and property details on the back.
Whenever you make a payment, always quote your rent reference payment.
